What
When a tool (one of the actions Claude can take, such as running a command) produces too much output, Claude Code saves the output to a file and shows Claude a preview. That preview used to show only the beginning of the output. It can now show both the beginning and the end, with a marker in between saying how many bytes were left out.
Why
The end of a long log is often where the error is. Showing it lets Claude see what went wrong without opening the full file.
