What
Claude Code ships some instruction documents inside the program itself. Three new ones appear in this build:
Platform availability
Preserved thinking migration
Prompt audit
The built-in document about models has also changed. Separately, Claude Code has a new step that records which session file is in use together with a running count. A session is one conversation with Claude Code, and the session file is where that conversation is saved.
Why
None of this changes anything you can see on its own. The document names point at features, such as preserved thinking and prompt auditing, that have not surfaced yet.
