What
Claude Code keeps an internal log of what it is doing. A new check decides whether a message may be written: its level (how important it is) must be one the logger accepts, and either debug mode must be on or Claude Code must be an Anthropic-internal build. The existing level comparison has also been moved into a shared helper.
Why
In practice, regular users outside debug mode may see fewer of these log messages written.
