Claude Code keeps a list of commands it treats as build tools. Build tools are programs that turn source code into something you can run or ship. Six commands joined that list:

  • tsgo
  • rspack
  • tsdown
  • maturin
  • configure
  • protoc

The list already held tools such as sphinx-build.
