What
Auto mode lets Claude act without asking you each time, using a checker that decides whether each action is allowed. In some cases, when the checker uses its narrower set of tools, the conversation it is given is now trimmed instead of complete.
Setting CLAUDE_CODE_AUTO_MODE_FULL_CONTEXT gives it the full conversation again. Claude Code also records when full context was not requested.
Why
