What

While a reply streams in, Claude Code now counts a few things about the incoming data. It counts how many pieces it read and passed on, how many it did not hold back, how many were split in the middle of an event, and how many arrived after a pause.

Why

The counts are probably for usage reports or for debugging how smoothly replies stream.
