What probably matters to youSection of the release
Unclear It is not clear whether the command is switched on for everyone or held back by a remote setting.
What
A new command, /send-to-project, sends the work of the current session to a Claude Project on claude.ai, a shared workspace there. It writes a short brief of the session's work, or sends a single message, to a new or existing Project.
It reads your local git state, docs and past sessions to draft the brief.
A confirmation pane shows the brief (threads, routines and instructions), a cloud environment and repository summary, and a project picker asking "Send to which project?", with 'Edit the message' and 'Send' options.
It sends through the /v1/code/channels endpoints. A client for Claude Projects, including project memory and /setup-proposals, is added.
Only you can run it; it cannot run inside a subagent (a helper Claude starts).
If looking up projects fails, the message tells you to close the pane and run /send-to-project again.
Why
You can hand off what a coding session did to a claude.ai Project without copying it by hand. The command sends local session content to the cloud, so the confirmation pane is your chance to check and edit it first.
