What

A self-hosted runner is a machine you run yourself that picks up Claude Code work. It regularly asks the server whether there is anything to do. That request no longer says whether the runner has finished warming up. It still says what woke the runner up.

Why

The exchange between runners and the server has changed. Anyone watching or logging what runners send will see one fewer field.
