What

The /permissions dialog, where you manage which tools Claude may use, changes how you act on actions that were blocked:

  • The "Recently denied" tab is now called "Recently blocked".
  • The footer used to always say "Esc to cancel". It now says "Esc to retry N blocked" or "Esc to approve N blocked", with N the number of items you marked.
  • If you mark items for retry while Claude is still working on a reply, the footer says "Esc to tell Claude next prompt".
  • Making the terminal window smaller clears any approvals and retries you had marked.
  • Search keys are not handled on the Recently blocked and workspace tabs.
  • Closing the dialog can no longer run twice.
  • Approving items no longer writes an "Approved ..." summary line.
Why

The footer now tells you what pressing Esc will do with the blocked actions you marked, including when Claude is in the middle of a reply.
