What
Claude Code has a new error message. It says that self-hosted runner tools need your claude.ai login. It also says that Claude Code did not send that login to the configured API address because your administrator set an API key helper. An API key helper is a setting that supplies the key Claude Code uses to reach the API.
Why
This setup used to fail without saying why. Now the message tells you the cause, so you know to talk to your administrator.
