What
These are small changes to the text screens Claude Code draws in the terminal:
History search, the picker for finding and reusing earlier prompts, now wraps and shortens its preview to fit the width of your terminal. Before, the preview used a fixed line break.
History search now places the cursor based on the full expanded text being shown, so it may start in a different spot than before.
The hint about search scope appears only when a key is actually set up to change it, and a shorter version of that hint was added.
The fast mode picker can now raise notifications.
Why
These are small display changes in the terminal interface. Previews should fit narrow terminals better, and you should no longer see a hint for a key that does nothing.
