What
When an image you attached is deleted, Claude Code now sends Claude a high-priority note. The note says not to open or recover any saved copy of the image, even by its file path. It also tells Claude to let you know the image was deleted. One note is sent for each deleted image, up to a limit.
Why
Attached images are also saved to a file. Without this note, Claude could still reach a deleted image through that saved copy.
