What
Auto mode is a permission mode in which Claude Code goes ahead without asking you each time, with a safety check watching what happens. A subagent is a helper agent Claude Code starts to handle part of a task and report back. The warnings shown when auto mode flags a subagent's report, or the structured result it hands back, have changed. One reads "SECURITY WARNING: auto mode blocked this subagent's report."
