What
Auto mode is the mode where Claude Code reviews actions automatically instead of asking you each time. An agent is a helper Claude Code starts to work on part of a task. The message Claude Code gives when auto mode cannot review an agent's prompt has been changed.
It now says the agent was not started, that retrying will not help, and that you can run the workflow outside auto mode instead.
Why
If you use workflows in auto mode, you now get a clear reason when an agent is blocked and a way around it. You no longer have to keep retrying to find out.
