What

A diff is a line-by-line comparison showing what changed between two versions of a text. The explanation Claude Code gives about reading one, used when publishing and merging shared documents, used to end with a sentence saying that lines shown on a /doc page carry the block ids added at publishing, which your own file may not have. That sentence has been removed.

Why

The guidance Claude works from when publishing and merging shared documents is now different. Claude is no longer told to expect block ids on /doc page lines that are missing from your file.
