Unclear It is not known what the expiry does to a network prompt or what the early check looks at.

What

The sandbox is a restricted environment that limits what commands can do. When a command in it tries to reach the network, Claude Code can ask whether to allow it. These network prompts changed:

  • Expiry: a network prompt can now carry an expiry option.
  • First display: a network prompt can now run a step the first time it is shown.
  • Early answer: before the automatic safety classifier is asked to judge the request, an earlier check is tried first.
Why

In practice, a prompt to allow network access may now time out, or it may be decided without the classifier being asked.
