What
When Claude Code connects to a remote session (one running somewhere other than your own machine), some requests are sent without credentials, the proof that you are allowed in. If one of those requests is refused with a 401, the server's "not authorised" reply, Claude Code now asks for the credentials again and resends the request once. Before, a 401 only triggered a refresh and retry.
Why
This should make sending to a remote session more reliable, with fewer requests failing just because no credential went with them.
