Unclear It is not clear when these messages appear or which sessions show them.
What
Claude Code has three messages for when another session, such as a remote one, asks a permission question that this terminal cannot display. The longest reads: "The remote session is waiting for an answer to a permission question that this terminal cannot show. Nothing else can answer it. Press esc to stop the turn."
Why
Without a message like this, a session waiting on a question you cannot see can look stuck. The message tells you why it is waiting and how to stop it.
