Claude Code shows short tips when it starts and beside the spinner while it works. Tips can now include a link with a label such as "Read the docs". New tips cover:
- hooks
- MCP
- mods
/contextfor long sessions, for example "Long session? Run /context to see what fills it"- auto mode
- team workflows
Links may only point to claude.com, code.claude.com, claude.dev, academy.claude.com or a YouTube video page. Links to the Claude sites get tracking parameters added, which tell the site which tip a visitor came from. The existing tips about custom commands and Shift+Tab now go through the same link handling. The linked tips are delivered through remote configuration.
Some users will see new tips that open documentation or a video, a quick way to learn a feature mentioned in the tip.
