What
When Claude Code builds the list of slash commands, the commands you type after /, it now leaves some out and logs "Command not listed":
- Commands whose name or display name is not text
- MCP commands whose name or alias is over a length limit
MCP commands come from MCP servers, outside programs that add tools and commands to Claude Code.
Why
One badly made plugin or MCP command no longer breaks the whole slash-command list.
