What
A symbolic link, or symlink, is a file that points to another file somewhere else. When Claude Code loads workflows, it now checks any that are links before reading them. A link is skipped if it does not lead to a readable regular file, or if it leads somewhere Claude Code refuses. Claude Code logs that the workflow "is a link to no regular file, or one refused for where it leads". Before, the files were read directly.
Why
This stops a linked workflow from being used to read files from elsewhere on your machine.
