What
- Saved sessions: the snapshot Claude Code saves of a session now includes a record of the tools used, when there are any.
- Web fetch: the step that summarises a fetched web page can now be given a maximum number of words.
- Background tasks: some kinds of task are no longer counted by the tracker that follows tasks running in the background.
Why
The saved record of tools supports showing which tools were used, and the word limit allows shorter summaries of fetched pages.
