What
A remote session is one that runs on another machine. Its name now shows up more prominently:
Terminal title: the terminal title tracker now reads remoteSessionName and uses it as serviceName. That name comes before the session title in the order that decides what the terminal title shows.
Name priority: the remote session name now takes precedence over the standalone agent name. Before, only the standalone agent's name was used.
Title keys: serviceName was added to the list of title-related keys.
The same finding also noted two smaller changes:
toolsUsed is now passed through a result object.
A new message type was added to the messages the SDK (the kit for building programs on top of Claude Code) can send out.
Why
Remote sessions now show their own name in your terminal title, which makes them easier to tell apart. Programs built on the SDK may see a message type they have not seen before.
