What
Claude Code has two new messages:
One says "Claude Code can't use your Claude subscription, usually because a payment is past due".
One says a background process did not respond and "it may be stalled", and suggests restarting it.
Why
These messages tell you what went wrong in two situations. The first points to a billing problem on your account. The second points to a background process that may need a restart.
