What

Mutual TLS (mTLS) is a secure connection setup where both your machine and the server present certificates. Claude Code caches the connection handlers it uses for mTLS. When it clears that cache, it now runs a cleanup step on each handler before removing it. Before, it only emptied the list.

Why

After a certificate or configuration reload, old connections should no longer linger.
