Unclear What the server-controlled switch falls back to, and so whether the recovery step runs for you, is not established.
What
When a cloud session is picked up again after an interruption, Claude Code tries to bring back permission prompts, the boxes asking you to approve an action, that were still waiting. A new step can now restore an interrupted prompt whose permission box sits behind a note. It runs only when a server-controlled switch is on.
The way answers are matched to actions carried into a resumed session has also been reorganised. The separate timer and state Claude Code used to keep for those answers have been removed.
Why
This changes how resuming a cloud session recovers pending permission prompts, so fewer of them should be lost when a session restarts.
