What
These changes affect sessions that run in the cloud or remotely rather than on your own machine:
- Sign-in: Claude Code now looks at a second source for a login token before falling back to the stored OAuth token (the saved login credential).
- Event fetching: fetching the session's events is now retried, waiting for the host, instead of being a single request.
- Start-up: Claude Code now measures how long one of its start-up checks takes.
Why
These changes affect how reliably cloud and remote sessions sign in and receive their events.
