Unclear It is not clear which remote machines support delivery reports, so it is unknown who sees this.
What
In a cloud session, Claude Code runs on a remote machine rather than on your computer. If you type a message while Claude is still working, it is no longer added to the transcript straight away. It shows as a waiting line and moves into the transcript when either of these happens:
the remote machine reports that it has taken the message
the current turn ends
This happens only when the remote machine supports delivery reports. Claude Code used to ignore those reports and now acts on them.
Why
It changes when your own message appears in a cloud session while Claude is busy, so the transcript shows what has actually been delivered.
