What
Claude Code now bundles a plugin called cc-plugin-claude-platform. It connects Claude to the Claude Platform developer documentation at platform.claude.com through an MCP server, an outside program that gives Claude extra tools, at https://platform.claude.com/docs/mcp. It also supplies the claude-api skill, which used to be registered directly.
It is registered in the same place as cc-plugin-claude-test, which applies when CLAUDE_CODE_ENTRYPOINT is not local-agent and another check is false.
Registering it does not turn it on. Its own check requires Anthropic's own API address, a process that is not an agent, and the tengu_peppy_crescent flag. It also includes a setting-style lookup that defaults to off, among other conditions. Nothing has been read yet about tengu_peppy_crescent.
The claude-api skill now ships inside a plugin with a live documentation source. Most users will probably not see it active yet, and the existing environment variable still switches the skill off.
