What
An MCP server (an add-on that gives Claude tools) can ask you a question. If no answer arrives before the time limit, the tool now returns a message telling Claude to:
not call that tool again in the same turn,
tell you the question got no answer,
wait for your reply.
Why
This stops Claude from calling the tool over and over when a question to you times out.
