What

Claude Code has a check that decides whether a background supervisor should be switched off. It now looks at whether waking is enabled, rather than whether the feature is enabled.

That check also depends on a mode setting. When the mode is set, the old rule that always switched the supervisor off no longer applies. Two further conditions are considered instead.

Why

This changes when background supervising or automatic reactions are held back.
