Unclear What turning on CLAUDE_CODE_CCR_OWN_CONNECTION_POOL actually changes is not known.
Two new environment variables, which are named values set before Claude Code starts, have been added to the list passed into remote sessions that run in the cloud:
CLAUDE_CODE_SYNC_PLUGINS_DOWNLOAD_CONCURRENCYsets how many plugin downloads run at the same time while plugins are synced. When it is unset, Claude Code uses the same fixed number as before.CLAUDE_CODE_CCR_OWN_CONNECTION_POOL, when set, turns on an own-connection-pool behaviour. Without it, that behaviour is decided by a server-side switch that is off unless the server says otherwise, so nothing changes if you leave it unset.
The record Claude Code keeps of each plugin sync round now also notes how many downloads ran in parallel.
The download setting lets plugin sync be sped up or slowed down. The connection pool setting gives a way to switch that behaviour on directly instead of waiting for the server to do it.
