Unclear The sed edit preview may now be shown somewhere else instead of being removed outright.

What

When Claude wanted to run a sed -i style command, which edits a file in place, Claude Code used to show a special permission prompt with a preview of the file edit. That prompt is gone, along with its messages for when a hook rewrote the command. All Bash commands now use the standard Bash permission prompt.

Why

You no longer see a preview of the change when approving a sed edit, so read the command itself before approving it.
