What
The report Claude Code writes when it reloads a resumed conversation can now include details about tool calls that were cut off at the end. A tool call is a single action Claude takes, such as running a command. When such calls exist, the report adds:
interrupted_tail_kind: what kind of interruption ended the conversation
cut_off_calls_shown: how many cut-off calls were shown
cut_off_calls_answered_in_turn: how many were answered in the same turn
repeats_previous_cut_off_call: whether a call repeats an earlier cut-off one
Before, only replaced calls were reported.
Why
This helps diagnose resumed sessions whose last actions were interrupted.
