What

When publishing an artifact, Claude Code checks whether it is allowed to share it. Checks that are already running or finished recently are now shared instead of being sent again.

The new environment variable CLAUDE_CODE_ARTIFACT_SHARE_PROBE_REUSE_MS sets how long, in milliseconds, a check may be reused. An environment variable is a setting you give a program before it starts. The value cannot go above a built-in maximum.

Why

This cuts repeated share-status requests while publishing artifacts, and gives you a way to tune how long a result is trusted.
