What probably matters to youSection of the release
What
claude ultrareview has a step that checks whether you trust the folder. It runs in two cases:
when the terminal can ask you a question
when a remotely controlled switch turns it on, even if nobody can answer
A new environment variable, CLAUDE_CODE_DISABLE_ULTRAREVIEW_TRUST_CHECK, turns off the second case. An environment variable is a setting you give a program when you start it. With it set, the remote switch alone no longer triggers the check, and the trust setup is not done. The check still runs when the terminal can ask you.
The variable is also on two lists of variables Claude Code recognises and passes on.
Why
Scripts and automated runs of claude ultrareview can now opt out of the trust step when nobody is there to answer it.
