What
When you start a cloud session (Claude Code running on remote machines), a checklist shows setup progress. It now includes a box where you can type, with the placeholder "Type your message while the session is set up". Before, it said "Typing is paused until the prompt opens".
The hints now read "You can send your message once the session opens" and "A question is waiting. Pause typing to see it".
Pressing Enter before the session opens does not send; it shows "Not sent. You can send your message once the session opens".
If creation is cancelled, the exit message adds "Your message was not sent:" followed by what you typed.
Ctrl+C no longer cancels while the box has text in it.
The new step is named ccr_create_prompt_line, next to ccr_create_checklist and ccr_cut_off_agents, and is reported when creation is cancelled or fails, along with tengu_cloud_create_prompt_return_ignored.
A new header, x-claude-code-route-final-answer, is also defined, and the code that checks for it also needs a route on the host.
Why
You can write your first message during setup instead of waiting. A message that has not been sent is shown back to you if creation is cancelled, and Ctrl+C will not throw away a draft.
