What
Connectors link Claude to outside services through your claude.ai account. The descriptions Claude reads for its connector tools have been reworded:
The connector search tool now says that enabledInChat false means the connector's tools are not loaded and Claude cannot call them. It no longer says the connector was toggled off for this chat, notes there may be no setting for this chat alone, and tells Claude to point you to your claude.ai connector settings and tool permissions.
The tool that lists your claude.ai organisation's connectors now mentions enabledInChat, explains that enabledInChat false with connected true means the tools are not loaded in this session, and says connected may be null, meaning unknown rather than disconnected.
Why
When a connector shows as connected but Claude cannot use it, Claude should now explain why and send you to the right settings, instead of suggesting a per-chat switch that may not exist.
