Unclear It is not clear what Claude Code does with a command this check rejects.
What
Claude Code has a new check for shell commands that change the current folder. A command that is not cd, chdir or pushd counts as simple. For those three commands, the check accepts only:
the flags -q, -s, -L and -P
at most one folder to move to
It rejects arguments like +1 or -1, which rotate the folder history kept by pushd.
Why
This is likely to make Claude Code stricter about which folder-change commands it lets run without asking, or which ones it keeps track of.
