Claude Code keeps lists of environment variables, named settings passed to a program when it starts, that it handles specially in remote sessions. A new one, CLAUDE_RUNNER_UPDATE_BIN, is added to two of those lists. CLAUDE_RUNNER_ACTIVITY_FD, already in one list, is now also in the list that holds CLAUDE_CODE_REMOTE and similar names.

Why

The new name suggests that the program running hosted sessions can update itself.
