What
Managed settings are settings an administrator sets that you cannot override. When those settings come from a remote source, Claude Code now classifies them as controlled by a machine administrator. Before, it decided this from a check on the operating system.
Why
Managed settings delivered remotely are now protected the same way as settings an administrator installs on the machine.
