What
Meta messages are notes Claude Code adds to the conversation itself rather than ones you type. Those added after a turn are now created with an origin set from metaMessagesOrigin.
The 'Permission granted for:' message, sent when a permission is automatically approved and Claude continues, is now built by one shared helper instead of two separate copies, and is tagged with the origin kind auto-continuation.
Separately, the text input box gains a maskWhole option, which controls how typed text is hidden.
Why
Claude sees the same wording each time, and other parts of Claude Code can tell automatic follow-up messages apart from ordinary ones.
