What
With computer use, Claude can press keys on your computer. A key chord is a combination pressed together, such as Ctrl+C. Claude Code now checks chords before sending them and refuses:
Chords with more than the allowed number of keys.
Chords with more than one key that is not a modifier key (such as Ctrl, Alt or Shift). Shift together with an arrow, Home, End or Page key is still allowed.
The error tells Claude that a chord is modifier keys plus at most one other key, and to send a separate action for each key.
Why
Claude gets a clear explanation when it asks for a combination that can't be pressed, so it can try again correctly.
