Unclear It is unclear what Claude does after a tool is denied now that the turn does not end.

What

Claude Code has a list of ways a turn can be cut off. A turn is one round of Claude working on your request. That list had an entry for a tool use you denied, and that entry ended the turn. The entry is gone. Only two cases now end a cut-off turn:

  • An interrupt, when you stop Claude.
  • A rewind.
Why

Denying a tool, especially in a managed session, probably no longer ends the turn on its own.
