What
The WebFetch tool lets Claude read a web page. When a page is too long and is cut short, Claude Code adds a note saying how much was not read. That note is now built from different values. Claude Code also no longer records which of your prompts led to the fetch when noting where the page came from.
Why
The numbers in the cut-off note may differ from before.
