What
Claude Code gives the model some text describing your local computer. That text used to say your downloads, local toolchains and anything outside the repository "live here". It now says they "are on this machine, not in this session's environment".
There are smaller changes in the same area:
Error records can now list tool calls that went to cloud memory.
Usage statistics can now record the highest number of things running in parallel.
A filter for retry headers and a name for sending a file to the user were added.
Why
The wording makes it clearer to the model that your local files are not in the environment it is working in. The rest is extra recorded detail.
