What

When Claude Code connects to an MCP server, an add-on tool provider, it first sends a list of the features it supports. This list is called its capabilities. Before, the list depended only on the kind of connection.

Now, when the server's host is flagged by the cloud host check, Claude Code trims that list before sending it. This happens in the first connection exchange, in the auto mode handler, and during client setup. Claude Code also declares its task support before the list of servers.

Why

It changes what Claude Code tells certain MCP servers it can do.

Flag reading moved The flag server now returns [] for tengu_gleaming_creek, read as this account. A reading is one sample. Claude Code evaluates its flags remotely, so no client sees the targeting rule behind a value and this says nothing about your account.
