What
Built-in plugins, the ones that ship with Claude Code, can now run a preparation step before each prompt. The prompt waits for them up to a time limit, then runs anyway. If a plugin fails while getting ready, the failure is logged and the prompt goes ahead without it.
Why
A slow built-in plugin can add a short delay before a prompt runs.
