What
Claude Code gains several internal pieces for remote sessions, which are sessions running somewhere other than your own machine:
- a new origin label for sessions linked to email
- a record of when a person last wrote, used when a tool asks for permission
- a list of queued wake-ups in session state
- shell commands typed by you are now considered when checking queued messages
- closing a session now releases anything waiting for it to be picked up
- a tool-use counter that starts when you submit
Why
These point towards remote-session features such as sessions started from email and wake-up handling.
