What
Telemetry is usage and performance data sent to a monitoring service. Before exiting, Claude Code now tries, under certain conditions, to send pending telemetry to a third-party service. If that fails, it logs "[3P telemetry] Export before exit failed".
A new full-page notice screen has also been added.
Why
Short runs that end quickly are less likely to lose telemetry before it is sent.
